Christmas 2008

We woke up around 7:30 & the kids have to wait in our room for Ryan & I to get ready. Then we went out and opened stockings and presents. The kids were so excited to see what they had gotten. Grandma Joan got them a Wii for Christmas & they were VERY excited about that! The girls were excited about their necklaces, earrings, and lipgloss that santa put in their stockings. Santa got them a game, & some accesories to go with the Wii, a littlest pets house, a sled, & K-nex for Derek. The girls each got a board game, a movie, a barbie, & markers, crayons, & colored pencils to share. They love to color & have been coloring ever since:) Derek got a race car mat, a helicopter, a Thomas the train book, and a parking garage play thing that he loves to drive the cars on:) It is so fun to watch their faces light up Christmas morning when they open their presents:) After we were done with the gifts we had cinnamon rolls, sausage, hashbrowns & orange juice for breakfast. The kids played with their new toys for awhile, and about 12 we headed up to my dad's for dinner. We stopped at my aunts house to visit my Grandma Holden and visited with her until about 1:45. She was so excited to see the girls & it was fun to visit with her for awhile. Then we had a delicious turkey dinner at my dad's & opened presents there. We played a few games on the Wii & had fun hanging out. We headed home around 7:00 just in time to miss the storm that came that night. Christmas came and went so fast, but it was alot of fun!
